Welcome to StackMan ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our platform at stackos.vercel.app (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use StackMan. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

2. Account Registration

You may register using email/password or third-party authentication (e.g., Google). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

StackMan offers free and paid subscription tiers (Premium, Elite). Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges. You may cancel at any time through your account settings; access continues until the end of the billing period. Refunds are handled at our discretion.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Post offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate content in community features
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. AI Coaching

StackMan includes an AI-powered coaching feature. The AI coach provides general guidance and accountability support. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice. You should consult qualified professionals for specific concerns. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy or suitability of AI-generated responses.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create on StackMan (posts, check-ins, assessments, messages). By posting content to community features, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content within the Service. You are solely responsible for your content and its compliance with applicable laws.

7. Intellectual Property

All StackMan branding, design, code, and content (excluding user-generated content) is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StackMan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or goodwill.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
